Where the money goes
Caring for the turtles alone (natural food, shell care and pool sanitation) costs us up to IDR 5 million, about US$300, every month. Until now, our activities have been entirely self-funded. We will share every year the number of nests protected, hatchlings released and mangroves planted, and how donations were used.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yayasan Baruna Balarama Fantasi is an Indonesian foundation. In most countries, donations to a foreign foundation are not tax-deductible. Please check the rules in your country.
Is the adoption of a turtle real?
The adoption is symbolic: the turtles stay wild. Your money really funds the protection of the nests, and you receive news of the nest or hatchlings you supported.
How can I donate from abroad?
By international bank transfer to Bank BPD Bali (SWIFT ABALIDBS), using the details on this page. Online card payment will be available soon.
Can I offer an adoption as a gift?
Yes. Tell us the name to put on the certificate and we will send it to you or directly to the person.
